Bush butternut question

Anyone here grow the bush variety? How long from pollinated flower until finished growing on average? I've read it produces smaller fruits than the regular butternut so I am curious how long since the regular takes so long. What is the largest fruit you have ever gotten from the bush variety? Thanks in advance!

RE: Bush butternut question

The only one I have grown is Burpee's Butterbush. It is a small fruit 2lbs being a bigun. There are larger varieties, Pilgrim for example . Butterbush is about two weeks earlier than most butternuts but still takes about 12 weeks from start.

RE: Bush butternut question

Thank you :). That is exactly the brand I have. Mine is being weird. Only male flowers until yesterday. Took awhile before any flowers showed. Never grown it before. I planted it on time but we had weird weather so maybe that slowed it down.
