| First time I've ever grown pumpkin. I am thrilled that I have a few growing but this one went to orange a lot sooner than I had anticipated. it is like 1 month early! when do i have to take it off the vine?

| I notice we're in the same zone. The same thing happened to a lot of my pumpkins this year. They are ripening already, and a couple are completely ready. I am wondering if it is because the vines are under stress or whether it is all of the rain we got this summer? Otherwise I was shocked too! Jill |
