I hate squash bugs

I have fought these things for years and, by destroying egg masses, am starting to get them under control. Unfortunately, as the plant grows, there are more leaves to check and I inevitabley miss a cluster or two. Eggs hatch into nympths which develop into...yep, squash bugs.

Last night I was surfing You Tube and came across this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q7v9VvNzmhE.

Being the sceptical guy that I am, I thought it too easy and too good to be true. Wrong!! I tried it this morning and now have several squash bugs laying on their backs, feet up in the air, and dead as can be. The nympths as well were stopped dead in their tracks. Still picked off the egg masses because I couldn't be instantly sure that it worked on them as well and I figured that's fewer nympths and adults that I might have to deal with in the future.

I also caught a few spotted cucunber beetles and it worked on them, too.

A cheap remedy with no chemical residue. Whoohoo!!
