What kind of squash is this and when do I harvest it?

I planted a bunch of different squashes but my MIL didn't use the labels when she transplanted them so I'm not sure of the varieties. One of them I thought for sure it was a pumpkin, but it looks a lot like it might be tetsukabuto pumpkin, but the skin isn't as bumpy and it doesn't look exactly like the photos of tetsukabuto that I've seen.

Does it look like it is ripe? How do I know when it is ripe? This one is pretty good size. I'm dying to try it but I don't want to pick it too early.
