Yellowing, browning and wilting of leaves on Atlantic Giant vines

I currently have two Atlantic Giant vines in my garden which were started from seeds in April. The plants were very healthy until about 1 month ago when I noticed the edges of some leaves were yellowed. Later I discovered and eliminated a cucumber beetle infestation (Sevin!) and sprayed fungicide on the leaves (Agway man said "Looks like fungus...") but the leaves continue to yellow, brown/burn wilt and die. It seems confined to the oldest growth but I culled two secondary vines on one plant after the new growth on them yellowed. The new growth looks fine and most of the plant is OK but the leaves develop a yellow edge after a while. I have resprayed for bugs and watered sparingly but the problem persists, and I'm concerned that if I lose more leaves the plant won't be able to power the fruit I have set. I have pictures of the leaves if needed.

Any suggestions?

Please post a pic. From your description it sounds as though you may have a potassium problem (or lack of).

What type of fertilizer are you currently using?

If its just the Old Growth. This is very common. If you have little spots of yellowing, and patches of white on new leaves. It sounds like powdery mildew. You often have to rotate fungicides so it does not build up resistance. A good spraying of kelp may help to rejuvanate things.

These are pictures from my Atlantic Giant plants, suffering from yellowing/brown/burned wilting leaves. Most leaves on the vine are OK, but with yellow edges. Some turn yellow:
