My goodness!! Is that really only one vine? Those are gorgeous pumpkins I adore the shape and color. If you don't mind I would love to hear more about how you did that. I have never tried to grow any of the very large maximas but your pictures make me want to give it a try.

i grew big max this year and mine are barely the size of a basketball. i was told to water them 80 gallons of water of day!! how much is 2lb of fert and what are your percentages. 5-10-10 or something. that was just a number i threw out there. i am also growing the atlantic giants and they are pretty big but seem to have quit growing. i am pretty sure they are about 150plus lbs. but i want them bigger!!!! i would take any info.

I did not know of this exchange and just ordered 10 giant pumpkin seeds. I am hoping to grow a biiiiiiiiiiggggggggg
one so I can have some one carve it and put it on my front lawn so the childred can enjoy it.

In upstate new york they have a contest and people from miles around go to have there pumpkin weighed and measured. Some of these pumpkins grow over 1000 pounds.

Any one have information on how I should try to grow them your comments are welcome.
