| They were doing well, and then all of a sudden they petered out! I don't know what happened, although my grouds are doing pretty well! I would like to grow birdhouse gourds next season! I have ideas! LOL! |

| My gourd/pumpkin patch is largely done now. I have picked most of the fruit. Stuff seems to be coming in early this year. I don't know if you remember those tiny tennessee spinner gourds I had but those are also really great for crafts, and boy are they bountiful too. The hard-shelled gourds (like the birdhouse) really seem to have fewer pests and diseases. They always continue growing long after my ornamental gourds have started to decline. |
