For those that enjoy making Jack O-Lanterns and don't think to use the fruit removed, make a gift of it and the pumpkin shell after the 31st to your compost pile.

Such seeds that will go with it will not germinate so feel free to give to the pile all and if Linus wants to sit in the pumpkin patch, tell him to rest on your bin.
