Why did this Big Max turn green with orange spots?
Not enough sun?
It doesn't seem to be rotting.
It'll make an interesting jack-o-lantern though.

But the other pumpkins went from pale yellow straight to orange.
This guy has been green for several weeks.

There's never a dull moment when growing pumpkins.

Maxima pumpkins like that are sometimes green. In the competitive pumpkin growing world they call them greenies or squash. I don't expect it to ever turn orange. It is nothing you did it is the genetics of the plant.
