What is infecting my pumpkins??

I live in NW Oklahoma. My pumpkins (Big Max variety) seemed to be doing great until about two weeks ago. Leaves started to look droopy, which I attributed to very hot days, although I was watering them every other day for a couple hours each time. I noticed a few days ago that there are yellow eggs of some sort all over the under sides of the leaves. They're about the size of aphids, but not moving. Does anyone know what they are and how to treat them?
