The sun doesn't shine on my fruit

I have two pumkins both of which are covered heavily by the plants foliage, thus the fruit doesn't recieve much direct sunlight. The plant itself gets ample sun, is this an okay scenerio or should I try and move things around so the pumpkins are more exposed.

I think everything is just as it should be......sun on the leaves and hopefully--- water at the roots.
