Growing more than one squash?

Hello,
I'm new of course, I'm sure this question has been asked a million times and many books and forums cover this topic, but I got tired of trying to search for my answer on this website. I want to grow more than one type of pumpkin next year. If I grow two types near each other, with flowers and other crops in between but still very near, will the fruit be a cross, or is that the next year's seed? I might consider just buying of trading for a few pumpkin seeds each year, as I just don't really feel like I'll have enough time and energy to hand pollinate and bag blossoms and etc. I love all the different pumpkin and squash types, I can't live without fresh zucchini for zucchini bread, I want to try loofa at the same time, plus about a zillion different pumpkins!!!! Oh, and I'd love to grow my own spaghetti squash instead of buying them at the store! But I also don't want mis-shapen, weird fruits. What to do - just grow one or two at a time?
Thank you for your advice.
