Pumpkins, Squash & Gourds

indoor to ripen???

hello everyone, this is my first time here, i hope some of you may be able to answer this for me. we had a monster hail storm...it ripped my pumpkins plants to shreds!!! some of my fruits had started to ripen, and now the vines have been torn away. will they continue to ripen if i take them inside like a tomatoes?? what shall i do??

I would leave them outside in a sunny spot.. IF they have already started to turn color they should continue. The flavor probably won't be 100% but it'll still be yummy or useful for carving.

thank you.....so far i have left them outside....but now new rain...24 hours strait...so wet...wish me luck
