I grew a fairly big pumpkin this summer. I'm not sure what kind (big max prize winner) something like that. It's the type that would be fed to livestock not people. It is about 70-80 lbs. The hole plant except for a few leaves around the pumkin have died. If I pick it now should it keep until halloween. I would like it as a fall decoration in my house but I don't want any mildew or anything like that to ruin it. If I spray it with a fungicide every so often would that help it keep until then. it is in a very dry place and it never sits in standing water. Please let me know any suggestions.
