| I didn't have much success with my pumpkin and squash plants at my community garden plot this year. But I did get one nice pumpkin. As my son was heading off to college for the first time, I decided to carve the college motto in the pumpkin as it grew, and present it to my son for his dorm room. Thus, I probably have the only pumpkin reading, "Ve Ri Tas." It now sits on his bookcase at his dorm in Harvard University.

| Looks great, very few people take advantage of scarring pumpkins like that. I've always thought that was a neat trick. |
