Scallops

There are no straight variety names for some ornamental pumpkin and squash hybrids.
This scallop squash with the color charteus hardly can recognized in the heart of the bushy plant.
But when seed matures, space between the outside teeth becomes dark green very fast. We think, that the plant says "please eat me" to animals, which are needed to take seed away.
My son says, this would look like a dart board now, and so it is the C. pepo 'Dartboard Scallop' and we have bought it only named es green striped scallop squash with a bulgy stem side.
