| I usually have my pumpkins off the ground before the end of September, but this year I have not been able to do it and will not get a chance to get them in for at least another week. I'm wondering what the effect of over night frost would be on the storage properties of the pumpkins? It's quite possible that my pumpkins will be exposed to frost before I can cut them. Most of them are probably in the 10-20lb range. Thanks. |

| If it is a light frost you should be ok but a frost below 27 F will make most of them go bad. |
