Congratulations on your "still growing crop". Ours shut down a few weeks ago. We have had low temps, but no frost yet.
Either you've had good and timely rains or you've continued to water throughout the dry times. I don't think you should be using miracle grow or other such products at this time. They are food for the vines and you need to let the vines stop growing as the gourds continue to grow. I'd also be concerned that the gourds might begin cracking with too much water and nutrients.

Do you have lots of gourds? What do you do with them?

So far I have ( as far as I can find) about 15 gourds growing, but there might be more of them hiding behind the chainlink fence. I'm going to dry them, and out of several I'll probably either paint,make birdhouses or do some sort of decorating depending how large they will get. Some of the tiny ones I'll make christmas tree decore and try to sell them maybe. I will harvest all the seeds I can from the mature ones and give some of the seeds away for other people to enjoy.

I'm always up for some sort of winter project to keep my self entertained. I love doing all sorts of crafts, like painting, woodworking, cross stitching,..ect.

Do you think they are big sofar? I don't know how big they can get, seeing that I have never grown them before.
I won't feed them anymore miracle grow. The reason why I have been feeding them is because we had a very late start on them (planted them in late June) and kept watering them every day with just water and only once every 2 weeks with miracle grow.
Let me know what you think of the size of them.

It sounds like they have grown to a nice size. You never can tell what you'll get from the seeds. However, I like the surprise gourds. If they all looked alike, I would probably run out of ideas for finishing them.
