Saving pumpkin pollen

I have a female flower that should blossom tomorrow, but it looks like the male flowers won't.
If I save today's blossomed male flower, can I use the pollen tomorrow?

I have heard of successful pollination if you put the flower in a ziplock bag in the fridge. Pollen viability drops drastically fast.
