Peanut cactus for Halloween

I have 1 heavily "peanuted" (is that a word?) pumpkin.

Any clever ideas for using it on Halloween? If not, can you steer me to site that may have ideas?

And I woke up from a terrible dream the other day--I had a horrible rash over my body. After I was awake for a while I realized that the rash had a strong resemblence to the raised areas on my "Goose Bump" pumpkins. :-) I was outside looking at them earlier in the day--am I obsessed or what?

Happy Halloween everyone!

Well, I just did this real quick. You are supposed to use starch, but the peanuts held the cheese cloth in place.

Didn't want to cut it yet since I'm going to cook it for pie.

This was an easy compromise.

When it was inside waiting to be "wrapped", my DH was convinced that those bumps were bugs :-)
