I am mainly interested in preserving the seeds from the one bushel gourd that grew on the giant vine. What a sight to see, it is seven pounds and grew on the roof of my home. Being it is the only surviving gourd, I want to plant it again next year. I harvested the plant today and am unsure what to do with it now. Do I hang it to dry? Cut it open to remove and dry the seeds? If I can preserve both the seeds and gourd I would like to do something creative with the gourd itself, but my priority is the life of the seeds. Thank you for any tips. Andrea
