| To make a long story short, I would like to find seeds for a specific gourd for my boyfriend's parents. Unfortunately, I have no idea what the gourd is called :). It is used for storage of wine (or, um, moonshine, I've heard) and has a long, skinny neck. They family who grew it are Serbo-Croatian, but the gourd may be from Italian gardeners, so it could be an Italian Heirloom.
Any ideas? Any direction? If I can find these gourds (and their seeds), I will have the gift that I would like to take when I meet his parents. Thanks for any help!

| Probably a dipper gourd type that has a long skinny neck. Called a Pipet gourd, Retort gourd, or Siphon gourd. http://www.amazon.com/Japanese-Long-Siphon-Gourd-Seeds/dp/B000XQLFWI |

| Bottle gourds have been used to store wine (so says the internet). I grew a gourd called the extra long handled dipper gourd that have skinny necks that are 72" long, they were a lot of fun to watch grow. Try out this gourd ID chart you might find it useful. |
