I planted seeds for 'Carnival' that I received in a swap. So far I had a vine that gave me an Acorn squash and then another vine that gave me this:
I assumed it was a Pumpkin of sorts, but my son keeps telling me he thinks it is something else. |

| The swapper grew carnival and other squash in the same patch and the seeds you got were hybrids from his/her carnival plant. Squash cross freely and this isn't a named variety. Looks like a large ornamental gourd to me, meaning that it may have a hard shell and won't be good for eating. |
