Every year at the fairs I see giant pumpkins and they are always pale reddish orange , odd shaped pumpkins. I tried to buy seeds and found only one type which fit this description. However, after they grew, they look nothing like the ones I am seeing at the fairs. Mine were the typical cinderella pumpkins and they didn't grow very large at all. They also are much darker in color then what I was hoping for. Does anyone know the variety I am talking about and if so, what they are called so I can try to find the seeds?
