Guatemala and other blue banana squash fruits are known for hundreds of years, but I have bred a new blue banana with the hard shell-skin of the C. maxima 'New England Blue', which I pollinated with a 'Jumbo Pink Banana' squash.
Dear BreaHouston, would you like to breed this very interesting fruit too and establish this variety in North America?
I only want to enlarge this new blue banana squash with my 612 Ammer 14 to create a new line of giant banana competition squash, which will be storable through the winter, so it can be weighed on New Yeasôs Eve every year.
