Pumpkin Seeds

I got one pumpkin from my garden this past summer. I didn't carve it this fall. I was wondering if there was a way to preserve the seeds over the winter so I can plant them and try again in the spring?

RE: Pumpkin Seeds

Wash and dry the seeds and they will grow.

Pumpkins cross pollinate so most likely your pumpkin seeds will not yield pumpkins like the one from your garden. If you want the pumpkins to be true you have to hand pollinate them.

I would suggest buying new seed.
