Ornamental Grass

Well this weekend I went out, since it was pretty nice sround here for this early in March, and Cut back all my cold season grasses. I was a bit suprised to see new growth starting already, even though we have had snow as reciently as a week before. Can't wait for the warm weather to get here so I can really start cleaning things up !

By the way, hey all you regulars...it's been a long winter ! I'm ready for some sun !!!

Same here, including growth on some warm season grasses. I cut back over 200 clumps yesterday, and woke up with cramps in my pruning forearm last night.

I cut mine back a couple of weeks ago. Had some green sprouts near the base. I mulched over the weekend. I like to get the mulch down before the spring bulbs sprout. Otherwise, it's a real pain mulching around them.
