How do you 'prune' your Thread grass bunches, or do you? Andybody here who's had this grass for a few years?

This is the first year we've had some Silky Thread grass bunches in some new

landscape areas of our yard. We got them last summer, and they are not very big yet, but also don't get very big. This is Nassella tenuissima, which only grows to about 18' by 12'.

I gather from some postings here, that maybe they don't need any trimming back? They look fine to me, and do seem to be partly 'evergreen' here. Can I or should I comb them with gloves, and just trim or break of the dried yellow stems? Or what do you do?

Any help greatly appreciated...
