grass ID please

Can anyone identify this bunch grass. I think it was bought at a local nursery and is fairly common for the area. It's about 5' tall. Just trying to find out if it's native or not. Thanks.

It looks like Miscanthus sinensis, but I can't tell you what cultivar when it's got its winter clothes on.

Definitely not native.
And in addition to Donn's identification
Clumping = Miscanthus sinensis
Running = Miscanthus saccharafloris

Dried seed/flower heads look quite similar at this stage on both.
