| We had to have our septic system replaced this winter. While he was regrading the yard, the worker ran over one of my garden beds with the bobcat. I had a Miscanthus Gracillimus and a Panicum Heavy Metal that I planted the Spring of 2007, which were still standing, but he cut (ripped? tore?) them down, and then put a thin layer (1-2 inches) of topsoil over them.
I was out there last weekend to see if I could locate them again, but couldn't find any new growth. Do any of you think they could have survived? Or is it still too early to tell? Thanks. |

| It's too early for either of them to be starting to grow. If you can, get the topsoil off of their crowns, and they should be fine. |
