What do you think about this?

I have Nectaroscordum siculum coming up in a south bed and wanted to know your "wise" suggestions for what to grow beneath them. You know, like the "shoes and socks" plants and bulbs that Brent Heath talks about? What do think about some seedlings of Elymus magellanicus, which I'm growing inside now, might that do?
Would love to hear from you all.
My Thanks and Best,
PP

PP..since the Honey Garlic is so upright in habit, I'd look for grasses that are round and clumplike instead of erect. Festuca, Luzula and Anthoxanthum come to mind.
