The ongoing confusion concerning the appropriate names of ornamental grasses sent me Googling while I ate lunch today. Needless to say, there's a plethora of information out there, but I think I've found a valuable online resource.

Good old MOBOT, the Missouri Botanical Garden website, home of the invaluable Kemper Center for Home Gardening, has another little goodie called Catalog of New World Grasses.

Check it out. Not only is there a continuously updating database of grasses, but the first page has numerous links to other online sources of information on grasses.

It's definately worth a bookmark.
