I have a very sunny spot to fill, and I like the look of splitbeard bluestem. I read a little about it on a USDA website and it sounds like another lovely hard-to-kill native OG. I want to plant it next to oakleaf hydrangea and prairie dropseed.

I did a search of the forum and only got one hit for it - is it just hard to find or is it problematic in any way? Anyone in zone 8 try growing it?
