Every year it is the same thing, pull the lawn grass out of my miscanthus clumps where it has seeded within the clump or spread into it. I have problems with normal lawn grass, invasive Zoysia lawn grass, and crab grass. One year on the advice of a local nursery man, I sprayed the invading lawn grass with a weak solution of Round Up herbicide before the ornamental grass came out of dormancy. Yes this worked, but my ornamental grass seemed stunted that year. Has anyone found a better method?
