P.v.'Ruby Ribbons' is rated as cold as zones 3 or 4, so if it was well established, it should come back. One of it's parents is P.v. 'Heavy Metal' which is my last Panicum to re-emerge, so maybe 'Ruby Ribbons' inherited that trait.

Donn...I planted several pots in the fall...mulched well,I hope.Left 1 or 2 in the pots.Keeping my fingers crossed. How late do you usually see "heavy metal" reappear?

Panicums are very hardy and generally very slow out of sleep...I'd bet they're fine and will emerge early May.
