Ornamental Grass

Japanese Bloodgrass & heat

I live in Boise, ID and would love to plant Japanese Bloodgrass in a median. It would be in full sun (southern exposure), and does get pretty hot (90-95, occasional 100 degrees) in August. Wondering if it's possible to grow bloodgrass there? I would love to put it with black mondo grass and mexican feather grass.
Does anyone have experience or knowledge of whether this could work?

If you keep it watered, it will thrive in hot sun, and its foliage color will be at its peak.
