I have a fence corner I'd like to plant some grass around. I was considering green fountain grass, but was wondering how does it look in winter? I know maiden grass will look okay in the cooler weather, not sure about fountain grass. Anyone have any thoughts on this? thx.

In my warm zone 7 climate, Fountain Grass and Maiden Grass both turn a nice beige in winter, and generally hold their summer shapes unless they are hit by heavy snows.

Put a taller Miscanthus in the back/corner and surround with shorter Pennesitums :)
