A miscanthus that grows taller than giganticus?

I was at a lecture this morning where the speaker had a slide of a miscanthus that was larger than giganticus.

He said it would grow up to 18 feet tall.

I missed the name of the cultivar. Does anyone know what it could be?

'Freedom' Giant Miscanthus is the tallest I know of. It's a cultivar especially created for biomass purposes, and claims to exceed 12' in height.

There's Miscanthus lutarioriparius, which claims to hit 7 meters in height!

I've been growing this grass for years, so glad they found a use for it. It was used instead of cornstalks for Fall decoration. My soil is good so it reaches 12', above that are the pink-turning-to-white plumes. Spreads my rhizomes only. A great privacy screen that isn't invasive like bamboo.
