Patience when planting seed for grasses

Six weeks ago, I planted seed from my Carex Bronzita. After a month and nothing happening, I gave up and used some of the soil to repot a plant. A week later, I noticed that the grass seed had sprouted in that other plant's pot! And the original pot with the seed in it had tiny sprouts too. So don't give up if you don't see results quickly. And keep the planted seed warm; I think that what made it eventually sprout is that the container was under fluorescent lights and was kept warm.
