When is the right time to move 'Karl Foerster'?

I planted two clumps of 'Karl Foerster' last fall, and just noticed today that one of them is too far forward in the bed. Yeah, I know, it sounds anal, but my space is very limited and I need the taller stuff to be at the back. Should I move it now, they already have new growth, or wait and move it in the fall?

The best time is very early spring, but you could probably move it now.

correct - now is probably the BEST time to move it. Anytime before it blooms or again in the early fall when it starts making more growth. You can move this grass at almost any time in the growing season if you give it enough care but, it is best not to divide once it flowers - if only because you will loose the blooms.
