| Here is a link to various grasses which indicate mild to severe allergic responses.
http://www.pollenlibrary.com/Family/POACEAE/ I don't know if a "mild" rating means that only a few people become allergic to a specific grass, or whether it means that if one is allergic to that specific grass, the response is "mild". Does anyone have "severe" reactions to any that are listed as "mild"? Anyone have nasty experience with grasses that were not listed, such as Miscanthus, Muhly, Molina, etc.? |

| Of the hundreds of varieties of OG I've grown, only one was definitely an allergen for me; Anthoxanthum odoratum (Sweet Vernal Grass). While I have mild allergies almost all season, I've never isolated another ornamental grass which worsened it. Trees, Shrubs, turf grass, weeds..yes, but not ornamental grasses. |

| Thought I'd revive this, because I am also curious if there are ornamental grasses that don't trigger allergies. Particularly interested in pink muhly, since it's such a stunner -- but I have a big allergy to Timothy, figure there may be others I am allergic to. Thanks! |
