Last year I planted some beautiful grasses (for which I cannot find their specific id cards now). I think three were maiden grass - the two smaller ones in my front yard are coming back now, but the big healthy one that I planted early last spring and did so well in the back doesn't show any life yet. Is it time to give up hope?

I also planted two beautiful purple grasses in front that show no signs of return yet. I really thought they were perrenials, but from everything I"ve been reading here so far it looks like they most likely were not for my zone. Has anyone heard of a perrenial purple grass for zone 5 that thinks I should keep waiting and hoping, or do I just need to replant something there..?
