It took a little digging, as it isn't in my books, but I found Gahnia erythrocarpa, which is called Sword Grass, Sword Sedge and Sawsedge. It appears to be an Australian Sedge, family Cyperaceae.

I couldn't find anything at all on growing it, but, in general, Sedges are moisture and sun loving. My guess is that it won't be invasive.

Apparently another Gahnia, sieberiana, is famous as the host plant for a moth called Dark Sword Grass.
