There are some warm season OGs which are hardy in your zone, and some which are not. You'd have to tell us what, specifically, you planted.

Even if they survived, I wouldn't be surprised to see no new growth yet. It's still early in your growing season, and the soil is probably still below the preferred temps for growth of warm season grasses.

My Panicum just started popping up in the last couple of days.

It needs to be WARM for warm season grasses to put on growth :-) I wouldn't expect to see much growth before the end of this month or early next, but when they do start growing, they grow fast!
