newly planted pennisetum hameln have brown tips

Just getting into planting OG, and am so excited. Last year bought some miscanthus,adagio and morning light. I just loved them and was very sad when 2 of tem didn't come back this year. Oh well...this year I bought calamagrostis "Karl Forster" and pennisetum "hameln".Out of 10 that I bought and planted about 2 weeks ago,9 of then are developing brown tips. Not sure what to make ot this. Is this something I should worryabout? I planted in a sunny site right away,cut the root ball,watered well,what gives?

I have liners (miscanthus) that has brown tips. These plants were delivered from Florida (greenhouse grown) to my home in zone seven. We had several nights with hard frost and one heavy freeze. I am a bit nervous but they seem to be pushing roots just fine. My calamagrostis is growing great; they need potted up. All of my grasses are in two gallon pots in a pine bark/peat/perlite mix. I assume there is some transplant shock. Good luck.
