First..don't fertilize them any more. They don't like fertilizer.

Don't do anything to them. If you get a long dry spell, water them. Other than that, just let them be. They may look ratty all year, but early next spring, when they first start to show new growth, cut them back to just above the new growth.

Thanks Donn...Maybe I over fed them, but the accompaning card said to add miracle start, then miracle spikes- didn't do that just watered them with miracle grow diffuser.
I've got a 4-foot silver grass that I did that to all last year and it liked it but I lost one also...oh well, thanks for the advise. Conie
