Can I overwater grasses.

My hosta gardens thrives and benefit from as much water as possible; 2-3x weekly.
I want to introduce a variety of grasses into the same gardens but
I have read that grasses perform better with less water rather than more. Is this exaggerated
Is it possible to grow a variety of grasses in in with my hosta and continue to water 2-3x weekly.
Comments appreciated.

Grasses which will do well in Hosta's usually shady environment are also water lovers. There are lots of them to choose from, although few of the tall striking specimens usually thought of like lots of moisture.

Look at genuses like Carex, Sesleria, Luzula, Juncus, Hakonechloa and Chasmanthium. You'll find many colors, variegations, textures and habits in these shade and water lovers.
