Height of the fence, and it's effect on sun exposure?

The various switch grasses will provide a nice vertical element. You can get shades from blue to green to red. Don't make much mess, which is a primary concern next to a pool.

Zone? Eastern PA

Sun exposure? Almost all day, from sun up until very late afternoon

Height of the fence 6 foot at its highest

Thanks to grass guy, what I am thinking is to border the waterfall with a low growing grass, maybe 18" to 2-3 foot, then in the back along the fence a higher and wider grass, 5 to 6 ft tall. Make sense?

We just had our pool area professionally landscaped. We needed walkways put in and we chose to have pavers installed and he also did landscaping so we asked for a plan and a quote. The job should be finished tomorrow and I am very happy with the results. We wanted our pool area to be a "NO MOW" zone with as little maintenance as possible. He installed about 20 various perennials, 3 ornamental grasses, 1 Hinoki Cypress, 1 Eastern Redbud, 10 Wintergreen Boxwood, 3 Magic Carpet Spirea, 2 Montgomery Blue Nest Spruce and 1 Winterthur Viburnium. Instead of mulch we opted for river rock. I just signed up today so I have not posted any pictures. 06/2007
