Tasman Flax Lily kinda slow

My garden, as recommended by others in these forums, has blossomed into a beautiful little spot under my bow window. Photos provided below. However, the "Flax Lily" is not growing as fast as I had hoped. It's hardly visible! It's dwarfed by nearby Lantana. I chose it because it had more white than other Phormiums, which seem too yellowish for the spot. But, wait, is it really a Phormium to start with?
Did I choose the wrong type to anchor the right side of my little brick garden?
Would it catch up later or get crowded out by the Lantana?
