| Miscanthus sinensis Arabesque
Miscanthus sinensis Little Kitten Nassella tenuissima Mexican feather grass I just redid my front beds and want to plant these grasses in several locations. It's pretty hot here now and I was just wondering if they will survive the heat. I was going to get small 4" pots. Thanks for any help you can provide....... faye

They should do fine. They're all warm-season grasses, and thrive in hot sunny weather. Just keep an eye on their watering this year, while they get established.

Thank you. That was a quick response.

...potting up some Nassella tenuissima, grown from seed. It's a great grass. It doesn't have to be in full sun. It can get by with light shade as well. It's best in a spot that gets some breeze, because it has such a hypnotizing movement.

Definitely plant them now. My Little Kittens are just starting to take off. All of these are warm season grasses that thrive in heat and sunlight.
